Sustainable Communities through Strong Leaders

Mekong Minority Foundation is a Christian development organisation working with minority people in Northern Thailand and the Mekong sub-region.

Globalisation is causing rapid change in these communities and in its wake traditional hill-tribe groups face a multitude of problems including poverty, drugs, HIV/AIDS, the breakdown of communities and the loss of culture and traditions.
MMF responds to the needs of these communities by empowering local leaders, partnering with organisations in the Greater Mekong Sub-Region, and implementing projects that help build sustainable communities.

New Office Opening

On December 8, 2007 MMF will officially open its new office in Chiang Rai. The office, which is aptly surrounded by hilltribe villages in the north of Chiang Rai city features both office and conference facilities.

MMF would like to take this opportunity to thank all donors and partners who have contributed to the establishment of this facility.
